Wok Teak In Jalan Song

Last friday i was outing with my friends to the popular eateries spot in Kuching that is Jalan Song. We settled at the Expert Food Court and ordered one plate of Wok Teak priced at RM5. Just a few mins and we get to enjoy the Wok Teak. For your information, Wok Teak is a fried spring rolls filled with tender meat mixed with vegetables. Dip it with the light soy sauce mixed with ginger and green chillis, the taste is awesome that i want to ate it slowly for enjoyment. A plate of Wok Teak for 5 bucks is pretty reasonable as the amount of Wok Teak is pretty alot for at least two person. But don't expect it to fulfill your stomach. It is more likely to serve as a light snack or appetizer.

I'm a Standout in Life

Hmmm, I have to think what is the thing that make me standout in a life for a while. I think my standout was in term of academic achievement. I received trophy and certificate on the hall during assembly when I was in secondary school for excellent result in Literature in English which is Form 5 subject. Another ones is excellence result in Commerce and Business Studies during my Form Six. Maybe for you guys/girls out there this is nothing compared to other, but for me it is meaningful well because i can prove to others that i can have achievement in my life although i had light hearing impairment. Mostly people look down and despise on us who had disabilities. This thing is really embarassing but I just have to admit it and be strong and committed to achieve success in my life. In fact, my impairment have affected my life especially in communication but i strive and overcome the barrier caused by my impairment.

When i was small, i make a vows that i will step my foot in local university one day despite people are telling me tha i will never make it because of my impairment. Now i am university student in Kuching and will be graduating soon in 2010. I had make it. Everything that i dream of i must try my best to achieve no matter how hard is it. As the motto by Adidas, nothing is impossible.

One day i woke up at my frens house? OMG, i must have drunk last night. What i have done last night? Don't tell me i have lost my virgin to my frens. Oh no. Kidding. I planned to overstay at his house. :P So one day i woke up at 9 am something. My frens told me it is unusual to see me woke up earlier as i tend to sleep till evening like pig. Yeah. Time for a lifestyle change bro. So my frens asked me if i wanna have breakfast outside. So i guess yeah and we walked to a nearby cafe. We stopped by Kimmy cafe and have a a plate of kueh tiaw. No other meaning of that 'tiaw' ok. Don't be dirty minded. With the price of 2.50 it is not worth and i am not yet full. WTF. So i asked my frens if we wanna go to the next shop beside kimmy for second round. My frens was shocked and he agree that he also not yet full lol. So we head to the next shop and ordering wantan with fresh prawn. Priced at rm4.50 and kind of expensive and hell it was worth every penny coz there is alot of wantan and the prawn is big and fresh not like those ordinary prawn. Don't believe you can try. Btw it is located at miri, to be exact piasau garden. The junction facing petronas. Let the pics tell whether it is worth or not.

After the crazy and wild and so on party last nite christmas, i woke as early as 8. Yeah 8 am, and my frens was sleeping like hell lol. So this day is the last day in miri and going to airport at 4 pm something. My flight depart on 5 pm and it is AirAsia. So need to go an hour earlier. So i waited for my frens to wake up and i even try to wake up him and after a few effort lasted for an hour, my frens finally woke up and it is a big victory for me coz i have to rush home and pack my thing. My mum is pushing me already lol.

On the way reaching my home, my frens bring me to a vegetarian cafe at bintang plaza there. Somewhere near the pondok. Mirians shud know where is it ya. The name is called tzu xin if not mistaken. Sorry to the taukeh or taukehnio if wrong spell the name lol. And there i was looking at the menu poster pasted on the wall, i found something funny.Let the pics do the talking again. Ya i know i always use this sentence, i will change to another style.

Do you guys/girls noticed something?If not, look at the bottom of the pics there. Holy oil Mee. First time i see such menu lol. I am not making fun of the vegetarian menus but i just cant help when looking at the name and it make me laugh. My sense of humor maybe lame. I just find it funny. For some of you out there maybe it is not lol.

All right, after having meal at the vegetarian cafe, my mum called up and we are gonna go for a christmas visit before returning to kuching. Good or bad? Good, i got to enjoy the food before going back to kuch. Bad news? I have to rush home quickly, take bath quickly, and dress up quickly OMG.... So i told my frens i need to rush home now. Upon arriving my cousin home, i saw my mum already dressed up lol and my dad there. But my cousin and the rest still in home clothes. Hmmm, maybe i shud not rush at all =_=".. After 1 or 2 hour ,we then start the journey of christmas visit. But this time i didn't take some picz coz my hand was busy holding junks of food to eat lol.

Wow i think i wrote too long. Ok i cut it short here, after visiting my uncle aunt house and the time show 3 something, it is time for me and my mum to go. I bid farewell to my aunt and cousin before i go. My dad sent us to airport. well this mean the happy hour is over :(... Upon reaching airport, it was so damn cold and i bet someone could become frozen statue upon entering airport hall. Not the frozen throne in warcraft ya... And while waiting i was surfing wifi from coffee bean. When the time reach 4, i thought it is the time to go into departure hall, buy my mum told me it was one hour earlier. I was like wt??? I thought it was 5 to fly no? It is six son. u must have been drunk. All right -_-, i have sip a cup of heineken. My bad...

Finally when the dreary long waiting is over, we got to hop into the plane. As usual, airasia plane are cold with smoke coming out in the cabin. And the stewardess are not bad lol. I dun take the pics sorry for u all guys there :P. I only got take pics of the aeroplane surrounding. Here the pics.

Raving X' Mas Party at Cherry Berry

You all guys sure have plan for christmas eve right but i am none and i feel bored at home. I feel like it is wasted if i don't plan for something fun to spend the christmas eve. So i called up my frens and asking whether he free or not and lucky he was free at night. So my frens asked me where we want to go that nite, so i was thinking why we don't have a beer at balcony@ cherry berries. So we use motorbike as the reason to avoid the traffic jam and difficulty to find for parking lol. But i saw one nice car here.

Nissan 240sx if not mistaken. My dream car. When i can buy this? :(

Upon reaching there, wow, it was damn packed. All the cars are queueing up for parking and it was obvious where they all are heading to, balcony. We don't have to struggle to find parking, just find one small slot and park there, there is it. Easy right? Haha. After we have secured for parking, we then head to balcony, rm30 per entry free one can of beer and those partying stuff packed in those classy red package. Yeah christmas theme lol. Kind of expensive but nvm once in a blue moon. The cherry berries cost rm20 per entry. So i think why don't we pay extra ten for more enjoyable atmosphere.

Dim Sum Frenzy in Miri

It has been ages since i left Miri to study. Now i finally step my feet in the land of seahorse and now i got the chance to try the food that i have craving for ages. My opinion. 1 basket of dim sum for rm 2.50. Kind of cheap if u ask me. Even more worth if u are sharing with groups of friends. The taste is not that bad. It satisfy my taste bud well and mind you i am the choosy type when come to food. It make me totally full althought it seem that we take too little basket of dim sum. The location of this tasty dim sum is located at 2020 cafe in Miri. Let the pics talk

Big Mac: The Ultimate Dinner/ Lunch Set

One bored night, calling out my best frens for yum cha and he suggest we at McD. It have been ages since the last visit to McD. I think 5 years back? We then proceed at 1o something at night to the 3 Mile McD in Kuching. We called Big Mac Set consist of large Cola, french fries and the main character, big mac burger for a total of rm 10.20 if not mistaken including the tax. Well from the looks of it, it may looks small but once u eat halfway, you will feel that your stomach almost want to explode. I did think that way and well i underestimate the powah of big mac. Lol. So don't mess with big mac.

It has been a year ago since my last visit to Tua Pek Kong at Muara Tebas, i and my family visit this Tua Pek Kong every Chinese New Year for blessings and aslo to stroll around Tua Pek Kong. The journey took at least an hour and a half to arrive. What is so interesting about Tua Pek Kong? Well only the pictures could tell thousand of words. Check it out

Last night, i have promised my friend from Miri to travel around the Kuching. The first place that we go is Hock Lee. But what caught our attention is the The Spring that had just opened. From outside it look like a high class shopping mall with Parkson Ta Kiong neon light stamped on the shopping mall wall. At night the neon shone beautifully like you never saw a moon? When we entered the shopping mall, wow it was super crowded and i can see alot of branded shop inside particularly like Quiksilver, City Chain, Esprit, Habib,Levi and more and the price are quite nice. There quite a few food chain like Secret Recipe, Starbuck, Sushi King and other i cant recall lol. I heard from my friend that the dustbin cost 800 and i was shocked. The fountain cost 700k according to my friend but due to some technical problem the fountain are unable to function.

Bowling competition

Yo..Last wednesday was a bowling competition and my friend was selected for grand final round. So i decided to give support to him. Upon arriving the bowling centre where the smell of bowling spirit is strong. Wow, i like the atmosphere, comfortable with the right aircond temperature and nice music for relaxing after tedious class. Here ya go.

Lately, i have been into the hunting of nice food. So far this is the list of nice food that i ate.

1.Spaghetti Bolognese spicy version

Price RM 4.99
Place: Pohonmas Cafeteria in Unimas (Foreign owner)
Taste: Not bad but not for those who dislike black pepper or spicy
Overall: Well good for breakfast because it may not satisfy your hunger 100 percent
2. Japanese Pie

Price: RM 1.20
Place: Inside Unimas Bowling Centre
Taste: Crispy yet sweet. Yum Yum
Overall. Bang for the buck considering the size is bigger than XXXL KFC Burger.

Xiang Xiang Fan Everrise 4 Mile

The day around 7 pm after i just done my shopping together with my mum at the new Boulevard in Kuching. I feel so hungry and decided to take some rest at the Xiang Xiang Corner at the old Everrise. I was struggling to think what should i order then my mum said i should take some rice since i haven't had rice for my lunch. So i decided to order bbq chicken rice with variety of meat and it cost rm3.50. The service was not bad i just waited around 2 minutes and i can chomp my bbq rice already. Haha. I was surprised to see that alot of meat included chopped char siew drumstick. The rice was lot too. The bbq rice serve my hunger well. Well for the price of rm3.50 it definitely worth it and it is nice too.

Wow Go Kart Racing in Miri

This is my first time going to go kart event. The go kart track is somewhere near after you pass tudan area. Arriving there, there were lots of people and hard to find parking. No choice we have to park farther abit. Coming down from the car, the sun shone it light gracefully and i could hear the kart engine roaring afar. Allright now is the showtime. Enjoy..

I Am Legend (2007)

Wow, I just came back from Cineplex watching I Am The Legend. At first, i thought it was a action packed movie but it turned to be different than i thought. Well, the storyline quite nice but slow so not for those who expect alot of action packed sequence. Be prepared as this movie will test your adrenaline rush to the limit. I was not prepared for the surprise this movie could offer. Damn, not for heart fainted. For me this movie is totally awesome and as expected Will Smith never fail. :)
